Special Events & Field Trips
Family Events
Throughout the year, the School Board or Parent Teacher League will host family events. These activities are to bring our preschool and school families together for fun and fellowship.
Activities include:
- Movie Nights
- Ice Cream Social
- Christmas Caroling
- Spring Dance
- Pool Party
- Safety Night
- Mission Service Projects
- Special Luncheons
Music & Drama Activities
Good Shepherd will have school choirs and various drama activities in which the
students will participate, with different choirs available for different grade levels.
The students’
choirs will sing for school chapel services, congregational worship services, and at
other appropriate times.
All children will have an opportunity to participate in the annual Christmas
program.
Field Trips
Field trips are an important aspect of the curriculum. These will include spontaneous neighborhood walks as well as planned trips. Good Shepherd's policy is that all parents are responsible for the transportation of their children to/from the designated facility to attend a field trip.
Prior to each trip, the parent will be informed of the details of that particular trip.
